While spider veins and varicose veins are relatively commonplace, they can still be uncomfortable and may require treatment over time. Through our years of serving this community, our staff has cultivated the expertise needed to treat these conditions and many other venous diseases detailed below. Moreover, we donate 5% of all profits to charity, a portion of which helps support medical clinics in Honduras, as we believe any difference we make in Minnesota should be felt across the world.

We’re proud to offer you access to the leading vein clinic in the White Bear Lake area. Led by Dr. Margaret Spartz, our elite team of vein health professionals is dedicated to providing you top-notch service and care for diseases of the venous system.

Varicose Veins

Usually rope-like or bumpy in appearance, varicose veins often entail side effects like itching, burning, aching, or other discomfort.

Reticular Veins

Surface-level and bluish in appearance, reticular veins are usually sized between spider veins and varicose veins.

Swelling

If you’re experiencing leg swelling that worsens with prolonged periods of standing, that may indicate the effects of a treatable venous disease.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

DVT, a potentially life-threatening condition, occurs when a blood clot forms in a deep vein, provoking pain, swelling, or a color change in one leg.

Spider Veins

Spider veins, which are mostly addressed for cosmetic reasons, are small, surface-level veins that may lead to pain or irritation.

Skin Changes

Over time, venous disease mounts pressure on veins and their surrounding skin, which can lead to skin discoloration or thickening.

Ulcers

When venous diseases are left untreated, they can break down the surrounding surface skin, leading to venous ulcers.

Superficial Vein Thrombosis (SVT)

The result of relatively commonplace inflammatory processes, SVT is caused by clots forming in superficial veins, which may result in heat, tenderness, or redness in the surrounding area.
